You are to play the part of a trainee producer at net.FM, a local independent radio station, but as part of your training, you will need to develop your ICT skills by completing a series of tasks

The station makes money by selling advertising, Personal Appearances, Party Nights in Pubs, Bars and Clubs.

The vast bulk of the income is from advertising.

Advertisers will want to advertise on shows that are popular, in other words, they have a lot of listeners, they may want their adverts to run at a particular time of day because of the nature of their business.

The most popular shows are:

The Breakfast Show (6am until 10am)

The Afternoon Show (2pm until 6pm)

The station broadcasts 24 hours a day, all shows occupy a 4 hour time slot.

net.FM also broadcasts on the internet via the staion website.
