I put this site together originally for the school that I have worked at for the last six years when we diecided to drop the DIDA course and begin the OCR Nationals in ICT.

The staff and pupils have worked extremely hard to achieve success in the OCR Nationals and we now have some of the best results in the country.

Right from day one of starting the course, we push the pupils to achieve Distinction level, the vast majority do this.

About me:

My name is Paul Livesey, I am currently the Deputy Headteacher at Moorside High School which is in Swinton, Salford.

I began my career in 1993, teaching a mix of ICT and Technology (Electronics, Systems & Control).

Within a few years I had moved to my second school to become Head of ICT and gained promotion to Assistant Headteacher whilst there.

I joined my third and current school as Assistant Headteacher and became Deputy Headteacher last year.

My current role in school keeps me very busy, so further development of this site is slower than I had wished.

When I first set the site up, I had a contact form and email link but the sheer volume of mail from pupils, teachers, lecturers and local authority advisers was immense.

However, I don't currently know what the feelings are about this site other than by looking at the logs which show a monthly usage of about 300,000 hits.
